Joe Mysak

Joe Mysak is at work on a biography of Tom Wolfe, forthcoming from Creed & Culture in 2027. Joe grew up in New York and New Jersey and covered the municipal bond market, beginning in January 1981, for The Daily Bond BuyerGrant’s Municipal Bond Observer, and Bloomberg News. His publications include The Muni Meltdown That Wasn’t and The Encyclopedia of Municipal Bonds. He has written for The New York TimesThe Wall Street JournalBarron’s and National Review, and he was chief saloon correspondent of the American Spectator. He remembers singing “The Ballad of the Green Berets’’ in grammar school glee club.
