Jesse Walker, an editor at Reason magazine, is the author of The United States of Paranoia: A Conspiracy Theory and Rebels on the Air: An Alternative History of Radio in America. His writing, which has won two Los Angeles Press Club awards, has appeared in outlets ranging from the Wall Street Journal to The Atlantic to Slate to No Depression. The United States of Paranoia was named one of Amazon’s top twenty nonfiction books of the year and made the Chicago Tribune‘s list of the year’s best books. The Los Angeles Times has described Walker as “a writer willing to attack the sacred cows of the right and left with equal amounts of intelligence and flair.”
